Danny & Pacesetter Employees,
Sincere thanks from the students, faculty, and staff of Northern Arizona University in Yuma for your continued support. Interest from the Pacesetter Endowed Funds provides scholarships to AWC and NAU students who are enrolled in two programs in Yuma. Since 1988, over 3200 NAU degrees have been earned in Yuma because of the NAU/AWC partnership. Most of these graduates remain in Southwest Arizona as leaders in education, business, health professions, criminal justice, government, social services, and many other professions.
Most of the NAU-Yuma students must work full time jobs while they are pursuing their degrees. Your support provides scholarships that enable students to spend more time on their studies and help offset the increasing costs of higher education.
With regards,
Nick L. Lund, Ph.D.
Executive Director

First of all I would like to thank Pacesetter Homes Centers so much for choosing me as a recipient of the Pacesetter Homes Nursing Scholarship.
My name is Sharon Lara, i am a middle-aged Hispanic mother of three children, employee at Yuma Regional Medical Center as a Clinical Associate and i am a full-time student at NAU Yuma Nursing program . I will use this scholarship towards my goal of making a significant difference in the lives of people int he field of nursing.
I would like to start my nursing career on the med-surge floor I work on as a clinical associate. This is where u feel i can get the most experience because of the wide range of patients that we treat on our med-serge unit. Then I would like to move to either Patient Education and Advocacy and Educator. I know that in my nursing role I will enjoy educating patients. I feel this is how you can change people's lives the most by teaching, and giving them the tools to make changes in their lives for themselves.
Sincerely,
Sharon Lara

Dear Pacesetter Homes,
On behalf of the American Cancer Society I want to send my thanks for your $1,000 sponsorship contribution to the Country Roads RV Resort Relay For Life event in Yuma, AZ on February 20, 2011. The event raised over $16,000 for the Amarican Cancer Society's efforts to help fund our mission.
It was a great to meet you at the event.

Dear Danny,
Thanks to your generous support of the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, Yuma event, we exceeded every expectation and goal that was set for us. With net income of over $190,000, Yuma's "Heroes For Hope" was second only to East Mesa in all of Arizona. You helped us gather together more teams and more participants in all of the States, and only Sierra Vista had more survivors attend their Relay.
Without your support, none of these amazing achievements would have happened.
Our Sincere Thanks for your support,
John & Deb Courtis

Dear Danny,
On behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Desert Mountain States Chapter, please accept my sincere appreciation for Pacesetter Home Sales' Title Sponsor support of the Yuma Celebrity Waiters Dinner on May 15. As you know, the proceeds of the Celebration Waiters Dinner help fund the Society's research initiatives, patient services, and education programs. This year's Dinner raised more than $30,000 - a remarkable achievement in these challenging economic times. You and your colleagues on the planning committee deserve the highest praise for making the event such a success.
As you well know, the cause of finding a cure for blood cancers goes on. More than 900,000 Americans are currently living with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes. In the United States alone, every ten minutes a child or adult dies from blood cancer. While survivor rates improve a battle is still being fought. And LLS will continue to fight alongside our patients and their families.
Danny, your involvement with LLS is tremendously important to our success. Words cannot express how great a difference you have made through the years, giving generously and advocating for this work in a variety of ways. as we plane for the future I look forward to working closely with you on events in Yuma.
Speaking for the Society's volunteers, supporters, and all those who are battling blood cancers, we are sincerely grateful for your ongoing support of LLS.
Sincerely,

Dear Pacesetter Homes,
I hope you are doing fine. I send this letter to express my gratitude for your generous scholarship. There are no words to describe how grateful I am to have the honor of being awarded such a gift. Your support will help me to attain my goal of completing a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education which has been a dream of mine for many years. Without scholarship patrons like you, there would be many students unable to pursue the career they dream of.
I moved to Yuma County from Mexico six years ago. As an immigrant, I cherish the opportunites that living in this county offers to me. Being the first person in my family attending college has been a challange but with persistence and dedication everything is possible. Academic success is important because only through education is how society progresses.
I will make the most of this wonderful opportunity by excelling in school and keep working hard to become a certified teacher. As a teacher, I will work hard towards a master's degree in Early Childhood as I enjoy wokring with children.
It is a nice feeling to know that individuals or organizations like you are in the world offering donations to those with a passion for education and their profession. Your unselfishness is an inspiration to me and I hope to one day help someone else achieve their dreams.
Once again, thank you! This award means a lot to my education and my future.
With gratitude,

Dear Danny & Pacesetter Homes LLC,
Your generosity will change lives of our youth. Does that sound like an exaggeration? We don't think it is, and you probably do not either.
Because of your support, a new Tiger Cub will develop a new relationship with his parents. A Cub Scout will have the thrill of racing his first pinewood derby car. A Boy Scout will attend Camp Geronimo or Camp Raymond this summer and learn a new skill that may begin a career or life long interest.
Scouting help's today's youth develop into tomorrow's leaders and positive members of our society. You have helped ensure that scouting will be there for generations to come. Scouting thanks you.
Best Regards,
Larry Abbott

I would like to thank you for the support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Our family were guests at the country club a few weeks ago and greatly appreciate all the donations. I thank God that there are people that are aware of the needs of all the families that are going through difficult times like us. Our son was diagnosed with Leukemia just before he turned three in December. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has been there for us every step of the way. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Mr. Bryant & Pacesetter Homes
Thank you for your donation to underwrite the Friends' Bistro project. The Friends are a 501 C3 nonprofit organization. Your generous donation has made Bistro, a costly Internet online library catalog module, possible. Providing access to Bistro will make a real difference for young and who access the library's website for accurate information/research.
You are now a Friends of the Yuma County Libraries Sponsor, and your business will have recognition as such for two years on the Friends' sponsored Bistro portal/web page.
Friends work with library administration and staff to make our Yuma County Library District's libraries the best they can be. The Friends purpose, as stated in our Constitution is: "...the enrichment of the total resources and facilities of the libraries of the Yuma County Library District and to promote knowledge of the Library's function, resources, services and needs." With your generous donation, you have helped the Friends do just that!
You may list that you are a "Friends of Yuma County Libraries Sponsor" on any publicity that you do during first two years that Bistro is up. Of course, we'd love to have you continue as a Sponsor after 2006!
Sincerely,
Joan Murray

Dear Pacesetter Homes Staff,
On November 20,2004, a group of Bachelors of Social Work students of Northern Arizona University held a rummage sale and raffle fund-raiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona. Through the kindness and generosity of our community, we were able to raise $3,100.
When we began this project in September we had two goals in mind. We wanted to educate our community and bring an awareness of the purpose of Make-A-Wish and the impact they have on the many children they serve. At the same time, we wanted to raise funds that would help four local children (since that time, there have been four additional children added to the list) who are awaiting their wish. We set our monetary goal at $2,001 and set forth seeking the community for support, donations, and eventually, buyers.
The response was absolutely incredible. We remain amazed at the many individuals who supported our project and helped make this a success. For this reason we take the time to thank you for allowing us to have a drop box at your site and for helping us "share the power of a wish." We are proud to be a part of such an awesome community!
With sincere gratitude,
Make-A-Wish Foundation

We appreciate not only your donation, but also the message that it sends to our scouts, the message that Scouting and the ideals represented by Scouting are important.

Dear Mr. Danny Bryant & Pacesetter Staff,
On behalf of the Board of Directors at SMILE I'd like to thank Pacesetter Homes for your recent contributions issued to our organization. In addition, I'd like to acknowledge the tremendous community support extended by you and the Pacesetter Staff, through hosting the 1st annual "Caring and Sharing - Yuma Smiles at Christmas."
This special model home decorating display gave us the opportunity to provide seven participating community agencies and clubs with a chance to reach a new public and showcase their perspective services.
The proceeds from Yuma SMILES at Christmas represent a valuable contribution that will be applied to extend Independent Living services to even more Yuma residents who have significant disabilities. I expect that the Board will see fit to supply much more of the monies raised to fund our new support group for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
We truly appreciate the time and resources it took for you to stage this event from Thanksgiving through the New Year. I encourage you to do this again in 2004 and count on SMILE to be there.
Sincerily,
Suzanne Canole

Dear Pacesetter Homes,
Thank you for the gift from Pacesetter Homes to the Pacesetter Home Center Scholarship Fund at Northern Arizona University. You have received no goods or services in return for your donation.
State appropriated funds to education continue to be short, so this support from Pacesetter Homes is more important now than ever before for NAU to maintain its outstanding quality of education. Programs throughout the campus and through our distance education are constantly striving to provide learning opportunities, which go beyond the norm. Money given to improve programs and for scholarships help sustain our students and the quality of education that NAU has been providing for more than a century.
